Acceptable use policy

What the service may not be used for, by people and by the agents they run.

In short

  • Use Continuumship lawfully, and only on systems and data you are allowed to use.
  • Your agents are bound by the same rules as your people, and you answer for both.
  • Do not attack, overload or work around the service or its limits.
  • Report abuse or a vulnerability to hello@continuumship.com.

Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses Continuumship — Users, Agents acting for them, and the runners and integrations they connect. It is part of the terms of use.

Unlawful and harmful content

Do not use the Service to store, process or distribute content that:

  • is unlawful, or infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • contains malware or code designed to damage, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to a system;
  • harasses, threatens or defrauds anyone, or impersonates a person or an organisation;
  • includes special categories of personal data, or the personal data of children, without a lawful basis and the safeguards the law requires.

Systems you may act on

Connect only repositories, trackers, environments and accounts you are authorised to use, and run only operations their owners allow. Do not use the Service, a runner or an Agent to scan, probe, test or attack systems you are not authorised to test.

Protecting the service

  • Do not try to reach another customer’s workspace or data, or to bypass authentication, permissions, guardrails, rate limits or plan limits.
  • Do not overload the Service, or send traffic designed to degrade it.
  • Do not scrape the Service, or access it other than through its interface, its documented APIs and the runner software.
  • Do not share accounts, or let one account be used by several people.
  • Do not use the Service for cryptocurrency mining or for workloads unrelated to delivering software.

Agents and AI

Your Agents are bound by this policy as your Users are, and you are responsible for what they do. Keep a person accountable for the work an Agent does, use the approvals and guardrails your risk requires, and do not use the Service for a practice the EU Artificial Intelligence Act prohibits or for a purpose the law forbids.

Messages and notifications

Do not use invitations, notifications, webhooks or integrations with chat tools to send unsolicited messages, or to reach people who have not agreed to receive them.

Sanctions and export control

Do not use the Service in breach of applicable sanctions or export-control laws, or on behalf of a person those laws restrict.

Security research and reporting

If you find a vulnerability, report it to hello@continuumship.com with enough detail to reproduce it, give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it, and test only against your own workspace — never against other customers’ data, and never by degrading the Service. We do not take action against research done in good faith within these limits.

Report abuse of the Service to the same address.

Enforcement

If this policy is breached, we may remove content, revoke a token, stop a runner or an Agent, or suspend a User or a workspace, as the terms of use describe. We act in proportion to the risk and, unless it would make the risk worse, tell the workspace owner first.
