Frequently asked questions

Where is our data stored?
In the European Union. The application and its PostgreSQL database run on Google Cloud in Frankfurt, Germany, on a private network, and files are kept in Cloudflare R2 storage in the EU jurisdiction. The sub-processors page lists every provider and where it works.

Do we need to sign a data processing agreement?
No separate signature is needed: the data processing addendum is part of the terms of use and applies as soon as you use the service. If your procurement process needs a countersigned copy, write to hello@continuumship.com and we will send one.

Do you use our content to train AI models?
No. We do not use the content of your workspace, your source code or the personal data in it to train any model, ours or anyone else’s. Agent runs use the model credentials you hold, on runners you operate.

How do I exercise my data protection rights?
Write to hello@continuumship.com. We answer within one month, and within thirty days for an application under Article 11 of the KVKK. If your data is in a workspace a company runs, that company is the controller and we help it answer you.

How will we hear about a new sub-processor?
We tell the owners of every paid workspace at least thirty days before a new sub-processor starts handling customer data, and update the sub-processors page. You can object within that time, as the data processing addendum describes.

Where do we find your security measures?
The technical and organisational measures are part of the data processing addendum, and the trust page explains how tenancy, evidence and access work. For a security review, write to hello@continuumship.com and a person sends the review packet.
